It is the burning question we have long wondered… is King Charles a secret Love Island fan?

Well, thanks to the ITV show’s host Maya Jama, 29, we now know the answer.

The Rimmel model asked the baffled monarch, 75, whether he turned into the long-running series during a Buckingham Palace garden party celebrating the creative industries on Wednesday.

Introducing herself as a TV presenter, Maya said: ‘I host Love Island. I don’t know if you’ve watched it? It’s a reality dating show.’

Laughing, the King quipped in response: ‘There’s one born every minute.’

And Maya’s banter did not stop there…
